These talented brothers are Be Discovered scholarship winners from Toronto, attended our programs in Toronto and in Los Angeles. Kevin is currently touring the world with Taylor Swift and Mike just performed in Vegas with Mariah Carey. Other credits include Trolls 3, Tauren Wells, Imagine Dragons, Meghan Trainor, The Oscars, Coachella, Paula Abdul & more.

Be Discovered scholarship recipient TJ Tapp from Alabama attended a couple of our L.A. intensives and Vegas program. TJ is doing very well working professionally in live theatre and most recently in the TV show Chicago Fire. Other credits include: The Cher Show, Kiss Me Kate, RENT, Cruel Intentions & Legally Blonde to just name some.

Will Thomas from Michigan attended 6 of our programs including Broadway Bound! The NYC Winter Intensive, The Vegas Convention and 4 Summer in L.A's. He was named Be Discovered's Rising Star 2 years in a row and won a dinner for 2 with Diana Uribe and VIP tickets to see Lady Gaga in Toronto. Since our programs, Will has performed with the the choreography of Mia Michaels at Radio City Music Hall in the summers New York Spectacular with the Rockettes, made Top 4 males on So You Think You Can Dance and danced with Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Rihanna and on the TV show Nashville. It was at the Be Discovered programs that Will realized that his dream was to be on SYTYCD and to work with the Rockettes. Will is also on faculty with us and has taught at Summer in L.A. and Broadway Bound! How cool is it that our current students get to learn from someone who years ago was training with us just like they are.

Following our Broadway Bound! NYC Winter Intensive, Cristine Prosperi from Toronto landed the role of Imogen Moreno on Degrassi.

Be Discovered booked Taveeta from Toronto on 'The Next Step' as the lead role of "Thalia". This launched Taveeta's acting career, helped her get her ACTRA union status and put her in the limelight. Be Discovered works with the shows casting director Amy Wright who auditions our talent and has taught at our Toronto workshops. The Next Step can be seen on the Family Channel, Hulu, CBBC, Disney Australia and Disney Spain. The show has won many awards including the Shaw Rocket Prize, Digi Awards for Best in Cross-Platform Kids, Nominated for a KidScreen Award for Best Companion Website and Nominated for a Canadian Screen Award for Best Children’s or Youth Fiction Program or Series and Best Direction in a Children’s or Youth Program or Series.

After the Summer in L.A Performance Intensive, Be Discovered scholarship recipient Chris Klebba from Michigan was signed by top L.A. agent Bloc and moved to L.A. Chris has danced on Glee and Dancing with the Stars.

Justina Aveyard from the Toronto area won a Be Discovered scholarship to attend our Summer in L.A. She performed with us at the world famous Carnival Choreographer's Ball when she attended our Performance Intensive. Justina now lives in New York City and this past holiday season, she performed at Radio City Music Hall with the world famous Rockettes in the Christmas Spectacular.  Justina is our 2nd alumni in 2016 along with Will Thomas to dance at Radio City Hall with the Rockettes. How special is it that our current students get to learn from both these now working professional dancers who years ago were training with us just like they are now.

Shawn Desman was booked by us on music videos for Alanis Morisette, Len and Paul Brandt as well as print ads for Sprite and a national Nissan commercial, to name some. Shawn went on to international success as a recording artist with his music and as an actor/dancer appearing in movies including Honey starring Jessica Alba. Shawn runs a popular dance competition MOVE that has awarded Be Discovered scholarships to talented dancers. 

Be Discovered booked 7 of the dancers on Honey as well as spoken word artist Dwayne Morgan as the poet in the film. We also supplied 500 background talent to this dance film.

We booked out actor Dayo Ade of Degrassi High fame on TV shows including The Kids in the Hall and Top Cops and a McDonald’s commercial. One of the movies we booked Dayo on is Clement Virgo's award winning 'Rude' that won Best Canadian Feature Film - Special Jury Citation at the Toronto International Film Festival and was nominated for 8 Genie awards. Dayo has taught industry chats and Q & A's at our Summer in L.A. Other credits include acting roles on Lost, Charmed, Star Trek, Alias, Scrubs and Cracked, to just name some.

Be Discovered scouted Matt Carroll at the Be Discovered Hamilton Spectator Talent Search. Within days, we booked him on an Aaron Carter music video. As a result of this booking, he toured the world with Aaron for two years. His first show: Michael Jackson’s 30th anniversary concert at Madison Square Gardens, where he danced for the King of Pop himself and over 20,000 people. You may know Tré as a judge from So You Think You Can Dance Canada and from her teaching at our workshops many years ago. Be Discovered booked her to choreograph for the NBA's Toronto Raptors dancers and to perform on a Donelle Jones music video. We referred her to our U.S. immigration lawyer who helped her obtain her work status for her Missy Elliott tour and to be signed by top agency Bloc. Tré is featured in the Breakin' In: The Making of a Hip Hop Dancer documentary where Be Discovered also placed one of the lead actresses Michelle in the film. Michelle is one of our alumni as she attended our Summer in L.A.  Our very own founder and talent director Diana Uribe was hired by the National Film Board of Canada as a consultant on this movie that premiered at Canadian international documentary film festival (Hot Docs) in Toronto.
