Diana Uribe (pronounced Dee-AH-na), a renowned mentor, producer, and Founder of Be Discovered, has over 35 years of experience in the entertainment industry. Originally from Medellín, Colombia, Diana moved to Toronto as a child without speaking English, facing racism and bullying while growing up in the city's housing projects. Despite these adversities, she became a leader in the industry. Diana is fluent in English and Spanish, conducting industry workshops and serving as a bilingual emcee.

Diana has cast major productions, including commercials, music videos, and films, such as the Bollywood film "The Hero" with Priyanka Chopra Jonas. She has also stage-managed concerts featuring top artists, including Destiny's Child.

As a speaker, panelist, and adjudicator, she has shared her expertise with Pandora Music, SiriusXM, the Toronto Raptors Dancers, and The Learning Annex. Diana has also served on the Board of Directors for Dance Ontario and is a member of the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television, Women in Film and Television International, and the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science.

As Talent Director at Be Discovered, Diana has launched performers onto global stages such as Disney World, Broadway, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and the ABC Christmas Day Parade. Her work spans New York, Paris, and Milan Fashion Weeks. Notable success stories include Enola Bedard, an influencer and dance star, Matt Carroll (now with Cirque du Soleil), Taveeta Szymanowicz (from The Next Step), and Michael and Kevin Scheitzbach (touring with Mariah Carey and Taylor Swift). Diana has also worked with Dayo Ade (of Degrassi High fame) and Shawn Desman, a prominent Canadian recording artist.
