Diana UribeDirector
Diana (pronounced Deana) Uribe is the founding member and Talent Director of Be Discovered LLC

The Director

Diana (pronounced Deana) Uribe has an eye for discovering talent. With a career spanning over 30 years, she has booked thousands of performers & helped launch the careers of many actors, dancers, singers and musicians. Among Diana's casting credits is 'The Hero: Love Story of a Spy', the most expensive Bollywood movie ever made starring Priyanka Chopra.

You can see Diana's performers on Broadway, in Hollywood, in Vegas, on the big screen, on TV, on world tours, on runways and in print ads and magazines. Diana founded Be Discovered 20 years ago in Toronto and in 2020, launched in the heart of Times Square at the Paramount Building in New York City.

Born in Medellin Colombia, Diana immigrated to Toronto as a child, not speaking a word of English. Today her communication skills in both English and Spanish are impeccable. She is a motivational speaker, educator and a positive role model and mentor to people from all walks of life, especially today's youth. She is a guest speaker at schools and universities across North America and has taught industry workshops for the NBA’s Toronto Raptors dancers. She is often invited to adjudicate and scout at talent competitions and beauty pageants around the world.

Now in their 18th year, Diana's week-long educational trips for emerging artists and their families to experience the music and/or dance industry are ranked #1 in the world. Performers from Colombia, Venezuela, Argentina, Mexico, Australia, Italy, France, England, Cyprus, China, Japan, Indonesia and all across Canada and the U.S. have traveled to train and perform with Diana. The events take place in New York City, Los Angeles, Disneyland, Disney World, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Canada, Cartagena and in the Bahamas.

Diana is a philanthropist who loves to give back. She earned her wings donating, volunteering and teaching English at The Angeles de Medellin Foundation. Many organizations and individuals have benefitted from her generosity and compassion. Coming from poverty, growing up in the projects, facing sexism, racism and bullying are the reasons why she is always giving back and helping communities.

In spite of all that Diana has faced in her life and most recently with the damaging effects of Covid-19 on her business, the entertainment and travel industry's, Diana is going stronger than ever. Her positive energy, passion for life and the industry and helping others is what has made Diana such an inspiration and staple in the industry.
